Fasting - An Old Method For Detoxification And Weight Control

It is certainly no secret that there are just a ton of ways offered to help people lose weight. It appears just about every month there exists a new product tailor made to get it done fast. Yet we want to discuss one proven approach that is really old and of course works exceptionally well. You can find references to fasting in many books some of which are truly very old. As you can guess, there is more than one type of fast, and bear in mind that fasting does not always mean eating absolutely nothing at all, as you will soon understand. We will speak about a specific fast that consists of eating fruits. Technically speaking, this is not a demanding type of fast, but it is still highly beneficial and can yield positive results. This is something you can do for a week, for example, and may comprise of a healthy fruit serving perhaps twice per day. But do think about buying naturally grown fruits so you miss out on all the great pesticides and other chemicals. When fasting and you still pass hard stools or feel constipated the reason might be your body is adjusting to the new diet.

You might obviously choose a liquid base fast. However, for something like a rigorous water fast, then we very strongly urge you to speak to your medical doctor before doing this one.
