What to Eat After a Toxic Cleanse

Many people who undergo the lemonade diet don't prepare beyond the diet, meaning they don't have any idea on what foods they should eat after the lemonade diet. Basically, to avoid this from happening and before you decide to do the lemonade diet, research on foods that are okay to eat after the diet. The following are some helpful tips for you to follow.

For its obvious reasons, after undergoing a toxic cleanse you should avoid foods that are unhealthy for you, junk foods for instance is one that you should avoid eating as it will only put back all those unhealthy elements you worked hard to get rid of. Avoid eating foods that are salty, has too much cholesterol, preserved, highly seasoned and processed meat products. The reason that you should avoid these foods after undergoing the lemonade diet is that these contain harmful chemicals that could only bring adverse effects to the body.

As your body has been cleansed, water is your best remedy to maintain it at such healthy condition. Water enables the body to be well hydrated as it eliminates all the toxins and other undesirable wastes inside the body which prevents one from digestive and constipation problems. The daily dosage that you should maintain for drinking pure water is from 8 up to 10 glasses per day. You may also opt to drink fresh fruit juices as these contain high levels of various vitamin and minerals, some of it are pineapple juice, strawberry juice, orange juice, watermelon juice and many alike.

Foods that are high in fiber are best in detoxifying the body. Fiber can be from whole grains or nuts, fruits, vegetables, and seeds. Fiber, after a detoxifying diet helps keep the body clean. Fiber can be in the form of soluble and insoluble products. Soluble fiber is responsible for building good bacteria needed for digestion as well as absorption of food. Insoluble fiber on the other hand helps in the relief of moving solid wastes outside the body.

Another nutrient that is effective and good to take after a lemonade diet is to eat foods high in chlorophyll. Chlorophyll can be found in foods like barley, wheat grass, alfalfa and many more. This promotes a healthy digestive system while alleviating any digestive problems, complications and discomfort as well as supports digestive tract recovery.
